Purpose
The Spa Concierge has a great deal of contact with guests and should be friendly, personable, empathetic and feel comfortable starting conversations and building a rapport. People skills are important and ensuring each guest is comfortable and taken care of throughout their visit is the top priority in this role. The Spa Concierges is a high-energy position that requires someone that can be on their feet all day. They will also be instrumental in retail and service sales, so sales experience is a plus.
Experience
The Spa Concierge should be someone attentive to the guest and able to proactively ascertain their needs effortlessly. They are also accountable for preparing beverages for the guests prior to, during, between and after services. Role expectations include welcoming guests,selliing retail products, answering spa inquires , preparing them for services, ensuring their comfort and relaxation through available amenities and ensuring proper guest flow through the spa. In this role, you will work closely with spa professionals to ensure that each guest is comfortable and on schedule for their treatment(s). The Spa Concierge is responsible for conforming to standards outlined in the Operations Manual and will strive each day to exceed our guests’ expectations.
Job Description
Answering phones. Welcoming and connecting with each guest who enters the spa. Providing beverages and other amenities to the guests. Preparing guests for services by assisting them to the locker room, getting them a robe, and explaining the flow procedure. Providing guests with the necessary paperwork for applicable services. Scheduling appointments using POS software. Maintaining organization of locker rooms, quiet room, service areas, etc. Confirming appointments daily for the next business day. Preparing and selling gift cards.Recommending and selling retail products. Educating guests on spa services and retail products. Ensuring proper lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy are properly in use. Preparing guest folders and work tickets. Filing completed guest folders. Assisting the Spa Coordinator with duties as needed. Protect the franchised location as well as the Woodhouse Spa brand. Safeguarding the safety of guests and team member members by adhering to all Woodhouse Spa protocols, policies, and procedures. Supporting the needs of the team and the location. Maintaining the proper care of the spa tools and equipment. Ensuring safety, sterilization, and sanitation procedures are completed. Performing other duties as assigned. Availability to work weekend and evening hours. Communicating with staff and management to ensure the location runs smoothly and according to the schedule. Protecting the Woodhouse Spa brand. Spa exprience is prefered.
The Spa Concierge reports directly to the Spa Coordinator, then to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.40 - $15.57 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
