Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement individualized behavioral therapy plans. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and other self-care routines
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Implement ABA therapy protocols under supervision, ensuring consistency and fidelity to treatment plans
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and managing behaviors using evidence-based strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families and care teams to update on progress and address concerns
- Support behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
Requirements
- Valid RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment start date
- Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health goals effectively
- Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress accurately
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
