Position Summary
The role will be a floating position in a large warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity to learn all sides of the production environment and learn skills from machines, fulfillment, paperwork, and shipping.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in pulling orders and ensuring accurate packaging
- Stock finished product.
- Cut and bend metal
- Learn to run multiple pieces of equipment
- Complete appropriate paperwork accurately for each item produced.
- Clean up and organization of the warehouse daily.
- Participate in cross training activities across the operations/production department.
- Other: Participate in scheduled safety meetings
- Always follow safety rules and regulations.
- Assist other departments as directed
Essential Skills and Requirements
Education, Preparation, and Training:
- Ability to complete mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Mechanically inclined, run power tools, nail gun, and read a tape measure.
- Forklift certification required.
- Entry level position
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting without climate control.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to perform repetitive motions.
