About the Role
We are seeking a Manager, Financial Operations to serve as the financial engine of our corporate team. This is a high-visibility, individual-contributor role — you will work directly alongside executive leadership, owning the day-to-day financial operations of the firm and taking on a body of work currently managed by the Managing Director.

What You'll Do

Prepare monthly financial statements and manage the general ledger and month-end close process.

Perform bank reconciliations and oversee cash activity across multiple entities.

Handle or coordinate accounts payable, expense reporting, and payroll processing as needed.

Prepare budget-to-actual and variance analyses that directly inform leadership decisions.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projection cycles.

Coordinate the annual audit and tax preparation process with external advisors.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.

Manage intercompany accounting and treasury-related functions.

Support back-office administrative functions including 401(k) plan administration, employee benefits, commercial insurance (CGL, workers’ comp, D&O/EPL), and entity compliance filings.

Build and maintain financial models, management reports, and performance dashboards.

Support due diligence and integration activities for new acquisitions.

Partner with the Managing Director and portfolio company leaders to monitor key performance metrics.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree a plus.

CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.

At least four years of progressive accounting experience in public and/or private accounting.

Proficiency with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.

Advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, data analysis).

Solid working knowledge of GAAP and internal control standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; comfort managing multiple priorities.

Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior leadership.

High degree of discretion in handling confidential financial and business information.
