We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new sports bar and entertainment venue, and we are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead our team to success. As the AGM, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our brand presence, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff members, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items
- Supervise inventory control procedures, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction strategies
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and implement rigorous food handling and sanitation protocols
- Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures
- Conduct staff training sessions on customer service excellence, food safety practices, and operational procedures
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between team members while meeting service standards
- Collaborate with kitchen management on food production, culinary standards, and menu development
- Support marketing initiatives for the grand opening and ongoing promotional activities
Experience
- Proven management experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in casual dining or sports bar environments
- Extensive background in food service management including supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining settings
- Hands-on experience with Toast POS - cash handling procedures
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis effectively
- Prior experience in staff training & development as well as team leadership roles in restaurant or hotel settings
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Experience supervising kitchen operations or culinary teams is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and operational standards

Pay: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
