You will also be responsible for overseeing installation, repairs, and upkeep of the company's property including mechanical, electrical, production machinery, HVAC, hydraulic systems, material handling, and buildings. You will also ensure optimal proactive maintenance support and processes for the entire plant production while working to improve plant efficiency.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Capable of reading electrical and PLC diagrams.
- Demonstrate solid troubleshooting skills under pressure.
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.
- Assist in managing a preventive/predictive plan to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate potential problems, and propose better solutions.
- Involve in discussions to develop, recommend, and implement projects and /or capital expenditures.
- Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
- Perform and record completion of preventative maintenance items
- Daily sharpening and swapping of tooling
- Other duties as assigned
Working Details and Pay:
- Single line production facility
- 8-hour shift
- Monday - Friday Shift (8:30 AM -5:00 PM)
- Training Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) schedule for 2-4 weeks upon start
- Overtime as required (Floating Saturday)
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), is required.
- Associate degree from a two-year college in a related technical field or certificate or diploma from a trade school in a related field required or a combination of education and relevant work experience highly desired.
- 2+ years of experience in the maintenance, mechanical & electrical maintenance, and/or operation of a process manufacturing facility preferred.
- Prior maintenance experience with glue machines, industrial planers, and RF generators preferred but not required.
Physical requirements:
- This position must stand for 4-6 hours.
- Work in confined Space occasionally
- Able to lift 75 pounds occasionally.
- Able to work above head and below knees.
- Reach, stoop, squat, and work at floor level
