AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan-owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has proudly served customers for 65 years. We are currently seeking a full-time Parts Delivery Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Complete the daily Westside AIS delivery route, which originates in Lansing and includes deliveries to three branch locations
- Load and unload parts at each stop using a 53’ soft-side trailer
- Complete and maintain all required delivery documentation and paperwork
- Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, checking fluid levels, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring required inspections are completed
- Communicate route progress and any delays to the Parts Department
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Class A CDL with air brake endorsement (automatic restriction acceptable)
- Previous delivery, transportation, or warehouse experience
- Knowledge of heavy equipment parts and the construction equipment industry preferred
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test
