Your Role
As a Primary Care Nurse, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our providers and delivering hands-on care that helps patients feel heard, understood, and well cared for. From clinical assessments to patient education, you’ll be part of each step in a person’s health journey—building trust through expertise, empathy, and teamwork.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with Primary Care Providers to support care coordination and follow-up for patients and families.

Assist with treatment procedures and carry out provider orders with precision and care.

Perform patient assessments and collect data through history-taking and physical evaluations.

Monitor patient status and respond to clinical needs using sound nursing judgment.

Provide education and counseling to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.

Conduct direct patient care, including vitals, medication administration, and monitoring.

Support specialty care referrals by coordinating appointments and follow-ups.

Document all interactions and updates accurately in the electronic medical record system (EMR).

Triage patient concerns to ensure timely, appropriate care.

Contribute to a positive clinic environment by collaborating with team members and helping wherever needed.
Position Details & Work Environment
- Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Work Environment: Clinic-based role requiring frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.

Qualifications to Shine
- Current Mississippi licensure as an RN or LPN.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Familiarity with EMR systems (experience preferred).

Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
