American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Lufkin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting with 60 beds

Patient ratio of 6:1

Night shift schedule, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (schedule varies)

No on-call requirements

No floating required

EMR: MEDHOST

Active TX or compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Ortho experience required

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Dark navy blue scrubs required

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
