Duties
- Receive and prioritize incoming towing requests via multi-line phone systems, radio, or digital platforms.
- Coordinate with fleet management teams to assign tow trucks efficiently based on location, availability, and vehicle type.
- Maintain detailed records of all dispatch activities.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and emergency responders using professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills to provide updates and instructions.
- Collaborate with third-party to ensure seamless towing operations and timely vehicle recovery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with dispatching in transportation or logistics environments, including familiarity with transportation planning and freight management.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing situations quickly and making effective decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of transportation management
- Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and managing multi-line phone systems for efficient communication.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries confidently.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
