American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience and an active CA RN license.
-
>Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital, covering Diagnostic, EP, and Interventional cardiac services
-
Performs and supports procedures including AICD insertion, ASD closure, IABP, Impella, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy, TAVI/TAVR, TEE, Watchman, LVAD, arrhythmia induction, mitral clip, and arterial line monitoring
-
Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekend coverage required as needed

On-call responsibilities required 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
-
No floating required outside the unit, though floating within the hospital may occur based on census
-
Documentation completed in EPIC and the Sensis Hemodynamic System
-
>Active CA RN license required in hand
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
CCRN and RCES certifications preferred
-
Minimum of 5 years of RN experience required
-
At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience required, with ICU or ER experience preferred

Epic EMR experience required
-
Experience with electrophysiology and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures required

RCIS certification preferred
-
One professional reference required within the past 2 years
-
>Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac cath lab and EP lab setting
-
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and support during complex interventional cardiac procedures
-
Time off requests must be pre-approved by the unit manager and submitted prior to consideration for the assignment
