Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and treatments
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment
- Understanding of animal physiology and common medical conditions
- Ability to provide basic pet care advice to clients, such as grooming or training recommendations
- Veterinary assistant certification is a plus
