Duration: 13-Week Contract with possible extension
Location: Hendricks, MN 56136
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week
Pay rate: $1750/week to $1850/week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment in its Long-Term Care department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and care planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Promote a positive and supportive environment for residents and their families.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Previous Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current BLS certification (if required by facility).
