American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position requiring EPIC charting experience and NJ licensure if applicable.

Hospital Operating Room setting
-
PM shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly
-
May float to a sister unit as needed

Uses EPIC for charting

Certified Surgical Technician credential required

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

License required if applicable
-
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 35 lbs

Ability to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking

EPIC charting experience preferred

Assist in the care of surgical patients by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures
-
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon based on understanding of the procedure being performed

Maintain vigilance over the sterile field to ensure quality patient care

Follow instructions from physicians and RNs while adhering to hospital OR policies
-
Practice standard precautions and maintain a safe environment in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
