- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain Michigan SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student progress
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of communication and language disorders
- Support district SLPs by managing and delivering services to a shared elementary caseload
- Develop tailored treatment plans and IEP goals focused on student success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated support
- Document sessions, monitor student progress, and maintain compliance with relevant policies
- Attend and contribute to team meetings to advocate for best practices and student needs
