As a valued member of the team, you'll play a key role assisting current district SLPs with their caseloads, ensuring students receive the speech and language services they need to succeed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active ASHA certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Valid state licensure (or immediate eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or strong interest working with school-aged, particularly elementary students
- Solid understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation for speech/language disorders
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but support is available for those new to the setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals and document student progress
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and district SLPs to support student success
- Assist in scheduling, IEP meetings, and maintaining accurate records
- Contribute positively to student outcomes within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team
