Service Tech Job Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the repair of agricultural and construction machinery & equipment assembly. They must perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment.
- Tech must be able to diagnose and repair engines, power trains, electrical systems and hydraulic systems.
- Will be called upon to work on planters, combines, skid steers, tractors, hay tools and other various brands of equipment we provide.
- Repairs and assembles equipment
- Develops a repair plan before beginning each job
- Determines necessary parts, materials, tooling, etc. to complete job.
- Completes all written warranty and work order reports
- Communicates all repairs with manager
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by manager
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Physical Activities: Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Grasping, Talking, Hearing, and Repetitive Motions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
