MISSION CONTRIBUTION:
Assists in the maintenance of contracted facilities through the efficient and effective application of custodial maintenance procedures, in accordance with the desired Goodwill image.
FUNCTION:
Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Assistant Team Lead (ATL) or Lead Custodian, and the Success Coach, is responsible for assisting in the custodial maintenance of facilities in a neat and clean appearance.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Ensures 100% world-class customer service.

Clean, dust and wipe furniture.
-
Sweep, mop or vacuum floors.
-
Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
-
Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures. Refill restroom dispensers.

Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.

Wash accessible interior and exterior windows. Clean blinds.

Performs assigned duties within the framework of our PRIDE Core Values.

Attends in-service and related training as assigned by contracts leadership.

May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.

Performs other duties as assigned by contracts leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Ability to utilize a wide array of custodial chemicals; general cleaning chemicals
-
Ability to safely operate custodial equipment
-
Ability to communicate effectively
-
Ability to follow instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Able to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time and lift up to forty pounds. May be required to lift heavier goods/items with the assistance of another team member.

Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion; i.e. mopping, sweeping, etc. Manual dexterity is required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must be available to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Must have a reliable means of transportation.
