Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Helper and be a vital part of delivering top-notch climate control solutions! In this role, you will assist experienced HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Support HVAC technicians in installing and assembling HVAC equipment according to schematics and design plans
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks on heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ammonia refrigeration equipment
- Help troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Participate in equipment repair activities including welding, plumbing connections, and component replacements
- Aid in reading and interpreting schematics and HVAC design documents to ensure accurate installation and service
- Contribute to property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Support field service operations by preparing work areas, handling basic appliance repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or service technician roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration systems, and mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems or property maintenance is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required; experience as a <PERSON> driver is beneficial
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform basic appliance repairs or maintenance tasks

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
