MK Industries is looking for an energetic, organized and positive individual to join our growing service department. Candidate must be able to multi-task and have excellent customer service abilities. The dispatcher will be responsible for understanding the customer’s needs and their service history to accurately schedule a service technician in a timely fashion that meets the customers’ expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Field calls from internal and external customers
- Keep dispatch boards current and schedule in an efficient manner
- Communicate the required information to the field and management
- Support field personnel and management on customer and company requirements as well
- as making sure tasks and calls are completed in an expeditious manner
- Data entry of service performance and information and updates to the customers
- Issuing and tracking purchase orders to support the field
- Ordering parts
- Inventorying parts for individual work orders before scheduling technicians
- Assist with service billing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service/dispatching preferred, but not required
- Excellent Communication skills; Verbal and Written
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Extremely high level of urgency to resolve problems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet
- deadlines
- Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed deadlines
- Possess good judgement and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in groups
- General; knowledge of the construction industry, is a plus
- Ability to adapt to very fast-pace environment and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbally
- Works well in a team environment
- Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills to manage time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
