We are looking for a Senior Tailoring & Operations Manager (Head Tailor / Alterations Studio Lead) who can take full ownership of both garment quality and studio operations. This is not just a tailoring role—you will be leading the entire workflow of a professional alterations studio, ensuring excellence in fit, finish, and customer experience.
You will act as the bridge between technical tailoring expertise and smooth day-to-day operations, leading a small team while maintaining hands-on involvement in high-level alterations, fittings, and garment construction. You are the standard-setter for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Studio & Operations Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations of the tailoring and alterations studio
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and order prioritization
- Ensure smooth coordination between front desk and tailoring team
Advanced Tailoring & Garment Work:
- Perform high-level tailoring, alterations, fittings, and garment reconstruction
- Handle complex adjustments for bridal, formalwear, suits, and everyday garments
- Ensure every finished piece meets premium quality standards
Quality Control:
- Inspect all garments before final delivery
- Maintain consistency in stitching, fit, and finishing standards
- Uphold a high standard of craftsmanship across all work
Team Supervision:
- Guide and support tailors and sewing staff
- Provide hands-on training and technical direction
- Ensure productivity and quality expectations are met
Customer Experience:
- Conduct fittings and consultations with clients
- Provide professional recommendations for fit and alterations
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
- 7+ years in tailoring, alterations, or garment construction
- Strong background in advanced sewing techniques and fitting
Leadership Ability:
- Experience supervising or training tailoring staff preferred
- Ability to manage workflow in a busy studio environment
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of garment construction, alterations, and fitting adjustments
- Strong precision and attention to detail

Pay: $8,000.00 - $9,200.00 per month
