Position Summary
Valvoline Express Care / Castrol Oil Change is seeking motivated and customer-focused Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our team. No previous automotive experience is required—we provide paid training to help you develop the skills needed for a successful career in preventive automotive maintenance.
As an Entry Level Technician, you will assist customers by performing preventive maintenance services while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced team environment.
Essential Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by evaluating customers' vehicle maintenance needs.

Perform preventive maintenance services, including:

Oil and filter changes
-
Fluid inspections and refills
-
Air filter replacement
-
Windshield wiper replacement
-
Light inspections and replacement
-
Tire pressure checks
-
Complete vehicle safety inspections.

Recommend maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow company safety policies and procedures.

Work efficiently with team members to ensure excellent customer experiences.

Participate in ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand for extended periods.
-
Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work with hands above shoulder level.
