SOS Personnel is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Therapist to serve students at Taos Day School, located on Taos Pueblo in Taos, NM. This is a meaningful, community-embedded role serving Native American students with speech and language needs in a small, close-knit school environment. What you'll do
- Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 13 students (1:1 and small group settings)
- Conduct screenings, standardized evaluations, and audiometric assessments
- Draft IEP sections including evaluation summaries, present levels, annual goals, and quarterly progress reports
- Attend and actively participate in IEP team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support student success in the general education classroom
- Maintain compliance with IDEA timelines, including 60-day evaluation windows
- Develop exit plans for students who have received services over multiple years

Requirements
- Active New Mexico Speech-Language Therapist license (required)
- Degree from an accredited institution in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Experience providing services in a K–12 school setting
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with Native American students and/or in Indigenous community schools
- Familiarity with IDEA, IEP processes, and special education compliance requirements
- Knowledge of or experience with Pueblo communities in Northern New Mexico
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
