American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of EP Lab clinical experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a top-ranked academic heart and vascular center.

EP Lab unit within a 748-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital ranked among the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country
-
Average daily caseload of 18 cases

Procedures include cardiac electrophysiology studies, head-up-tilt tests, cardioversions, internal loop recorder implants, atrial flutter/fibrillation ablations, SVT ablations, VT ablations, device implants (Watchman, Aveir, pacemaker, defibrillator), and device explants/lead extractions

Charting performed in Cerner and GE Cardiolab; medications dispensed via Pyxis

Required equipment experience includes Philips X-ray, Siemens X-ray, and GE Micropacer

Preferred equipment experience includes 3D mapping systems (Biosense, Abbott/ESI), GE/Abbott EP4, ViewMate ultrasound, Siemens ultrasound, GE ultrasound, and laser lead machine

Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with 2 days of late case coverage per week (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)

No on-call or weekend requirements

No floating requirement

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility should contact their recruiter regarding the local pay rate

Minimum of 1 year of EP Lab clinical experience required

Current ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCES or RCIS certification required
-
ARRT certification and fluoroscopy permit preferred
-
Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and EP ablations required
-
Experience with Cerner EMR required
-
EKG experience in inpatient and outpatient settings required, including obtaining vitals and interpreting sinus node rhythms

Experience with Philips and/or Siemens X-ray machines and GE Micropacer required
-
Experience with groin closure devices, peripheral procedures, and laser lead extraction preferred
-
Background in trauma or children's hospital settings preferred
-
License required if applicable

Flu vaccine required for facility compliance

First-time travelers will be considered provided they have the required EP Lab clinical experience

Scrubs are provided by the facility

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
