Job Summary
J & M Group Michigan, LLC is a general contractor in both residential building & remodeling and paving industry based in Greenville. We have been rapidly growing since 2021. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, and a bonus would be related experience in siding, decking, windows, or remodeling. This role involves working on diverse projects, primarily in residential to construction where you will apply your expertise.

Duties
- Framing houses, additions, and decks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks including the installation of moldings, door frames, and cabinetry.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while prioritizing safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles.
- Proficiency in trim carpentry techniques and drywall installation.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively is essential.
- Knowledge of windows and siding installation preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Prefer reletively local to Greenville, MI area.
