Position: Shop Manager / Production Manager
We are seeking a high-level Shop Manager / Production Manager to lead daily operations, drive production, and hold the team accountable to performance standards. This role is responsible for both shop leadership and production flow, ensuring vehicles move efficiently from intake to delivery while maintaining top-tier quality and customer satisfaction.
This is not a sit-back management role—we’re looking for someone who can own the floor, control production, and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end shop operations, from vehicle intake through final delivery
- Manage and optimize production flow, cycle time, and touch time
- Assign and dispatch work to technicians based on skill level and workload
- Ensure all repairs meet Uni-Tech standards, OEM procedures, and I-CAR guidelines
- Monitor and drive KPIs (cycle time, severity, efficiency, CSI, revenue)
- Work closely with estimators to ensure accurate, DRP-compliant estimates and supplements
- Maintain accountability for technician performance, payroll hours, and productivity
- Lead daily production meetings and provide clear direction to the team
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
- Maintain strong communication between customers, insurance partners, and internal staff
- Coach, train, and develop technicians and staff to elevate overall shop performance
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Shop Manager, Production Manager, or Lead Estimator in a collision repair environment
- Strong understanding of DRP operations and insurance processes
- Proficiency with CCC ONE (or similar estimating systems)
- Ability to manage high-volume production while maintaining quality
- Strong leadership presence—you can hold people accountable and drive performance
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- I-CAR certification (preferred but not required with strong experience)
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses tied to KPIs
- Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding operation
- Supportive, performance-driven team environment
- Ongoing training and professional development
