Freedom Early Learning Center is a nonprofit Christian based early childhood center in the Jenison/Hudsonville area. Here at FELC, it is our mission to provide children with opportunities for Christ-centered spiritual, cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development in a nurturing environment.
This position will be full-time Monday-Friday.
Lead Teacher Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and lead lesson plans
- Work closely with assistant teachers
- Plan and prepare a safe classroom environment
- Supervise children in classroom at all times
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude
- Follow the Creative Curriculum and child assessments
- Daily communication with parents
- Maintain child records in an orderly and professional manner
Lead Infant Teacher Requirements:
- Looking for someone who is positive, caring, loving, and patient
- CDA preferred or higher
- Must be flexible
- Early childhood experience (preferred)
- Able to lift children of varying ages and equipment of varying sizes
- Early childhood experience is preferred
