Job Description:
A quickly-growing customs brokerage firm is looking for a well- organized, detail-oriented individual with good morale to join our team. 1+ years of experience in customs brokerage industry is required.
Responsibilities:
- Generate, update and maintain the accurate data entries and documentation for international shipments and customer records;
- Comprehend US customs regulatory and commodities classification to assist the licensed customs broker to input and submit the data to US Customs timely and accurately;
- Work with logistics departments to keep track of shipments and prioritize entries based on arrivals to avoid the storage fees;
- Ensure processing of entries correctly and promptly, with inter-department invoicing;
- Be familiar with CBP regulatory and updates for their commodities;
- Communicate with customers by phone and email and be able to answer and offer guidance to customer’s inquiries and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
- Respond to CBP’s inquiries timely and precisely, both by phone and email
Qualifications:
- Computer literate
- 3+ years College or BA degree is required
- 1+ year international freight forwarding, or Customs/Brokerage experience is required
- Bilingual is a plus
- Background check is required

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
