Summary/Objective
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant, with a primary focus on front-of-house deep cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of front-of-house areas including dining rooms, entryways, waiting areas, host stands, and beverage stations
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing as needed
- Deep clean high-touch surfaces such as tables, chairs, booths, railings, door handles, and light fixtures
- Clean restrooms thoroughly, including stalls, doors, fixtures, walls, mirrors, and floors
- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, and glass surfaces to maintain a spotless appearance
- Remove trash, debris, and buildup from all front-facing areas
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual deep cleaning tasks as outlined
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health, safety, and sanitation standards

Work Environment
Work is performed involves exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, loud noise, and crowded spaces. Work is primarily focused in guest-accessible (front-of-house) areas.

This position typically operates after business hours or during off-peak times and may be performed independently with minimal supervision.
Other Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate, read, and write in English
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hospitality or restaurant environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards

- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Must have adequate vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
