American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 2 years of experience, stepdown/PCU float capability, and an active SC RN license.

Work in a 29-bed general surgical and orthopedic unit with medical overflow (4T MS unit)
-
Patient population includes general surgical, orthopedic, and medical overflow cases
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Weekday schedule with every other weekend required
-
Floating to the PCU unit required as needed
-
Holiday coverage required as needed
-
EMR: Meditech
-
13-week contract with possibility of extension
-
Active SC RN license (Standard or Compact) already in hand at time of consideration

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required

Stepdown/PCU experience required due to float responsibilities

IV insertion skills required
-
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Clean license with no hits or background issues — facility will not accept any license or background concerns

Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required — first-time travelers are welcome to apply

Scrubs are not provided; royal blue or white scrubs required
