Produce quality envelope blanks by use of an automated cutting machine used in the manufacturing of envelopes.
- Sets up and operates automated cutting machine to cut envelope
- Manually mounts paper rolls onto machine fixture, manually using overhead hoist and hand tools
- Monitors operation of cutting machine to detect malfunctions and informs supervisor of any problems
- Inspects blanks for quality issues
- Removes cut piles of envelope blanks from table, stacking on skid
- Performs quality checks on envelope blanks
- Maintains/records job times and quantities for reporting
- Maintains clean/safe immediate work area
- Cleans around and under equipment
- Additional tasks as assigned
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic reading, math, ruling and keyboard skills
- Lifting 5-50 lbs. throughout shift
- Standing 12 hours while performing production tasks
- Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning throughout the shift
- Adherence to all safety rules including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and clothing that complies with Company policy
