We are looking for a highly organized Construction Office Manager with proven accounting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in managing financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing budgets and reports. Experience in construction industry accounting practices is essential, including proficiency with invoicing, payroll, and cost tracking. Candidates should be able to ensure accuracy and compliance with all financial processes while supporting overall office operations.
Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative staff
· Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and basic bookkeeping
· Coordinate with projects managers, superintendents, vendors and subcontractors
· Maintain project files, contracts, insurance certificates and permits
· Manage office supplies, equipment and vendor accounts
· Answer phones, schedule meetings and handle correspondence
· Ensure compliance with company policies and construction regulations
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in office management, preferably in a construction setting
· Strong accounting skills, including bookkeeping and financial reporting
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software (such as QuickBooks)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently
· High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred
