Reporting to the Supervisor of the Pediatric Service Line, the Pediatric Physical Therapist provides comprehensive evaluations and evidence based treatment to infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
This role includes assessment, treatment planning, ongoing evaluation, family education, and collaboration with physicians and other rehabilitation professionals to deliver exceptional patient centered care. The Pediatric Physical Therapist is committed to helping each child achieve their highest level of function while supporting families throughout every stage of care.
Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions using evidence based practices
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and developmental strategies
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and other members of the care team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide compassionate, family centered care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
Experience
A minimum of three years of pediatric physical therapy experience is required.
Outpatient pediatric or school based experience is preferred.
Licensure and Certification
Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required.
BLS certification required within four months of hire.

Strong clinical judgment and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment
Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records
