Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is passionate about patient care, education, and preventive dentistry. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments
- Obtain and review medical/dental histories
- Expose and interpret dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and disease prevention
- Assist the dentist in diagnosing conditions and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas RDH license (required)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Experience with digital X-rays and dental software preferred
- Gentle, patient-first approach
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
