We are currently looking to hire a heavy diesel mechanic for our 24 hour roadside repair team. We cover a 120 mile radius area as well as maintain our own fleet of 10 trucks and trailers. This job requires a 24/7/365 availability for on call roadside repair work as well and in shop repair. We have a rotating "on call" schedule is currently 3 on/4 off, 4 on/3 off including every other weekend. Our rotating "on call" schedule is set a month in advance. This position requires you to leave within 35 minutes of New Haven, IN.
Requirements
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic Experience, including air brakes, truck/trailer lighting, wheel ends, tires. abs
- Reliable Transportation to and from work, Company Service truck provided that is taken home daily
- Basic Heavy Diesel tools
- Class B or A CDL is a plus but not required
- Availability and desire to work an 24 hour on call schedule
