Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sportsbook Writer to join our dynamic team. The Sportsbook Writer is responsible for controlling his/her individual bankroll during their assigned shift. He/She also prepares the summary of all receipts and disbursements made during the shift.
Duties:
- Safeguard sportsbook bankroll.
- Receive and return imprest amount of cash and cash equivalents from Sportsbook Supervisor.
- Process front money deposits and withdrawals for patrons.
- Responsible for the receipt and payout of cash, chips, negotiable instruments, vouchers, and other records to and from players.
- Preparation of wager ticket records.
- Other functions designated by management are not incompatible with the functions of a Sportsbook Writer.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the company standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Casino.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform, nametag and PR Casino Gaming Division License when working.
- Always comply with the company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient casino operations.
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor. Be kind, friendly and competent at all times in the workplace.

- Maintain your work area and leisure area in a clean, organized and secure manner.
- Protect company assets and equipment.

- Comply with all responsibilities as stated in SOP and MICs.
