Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such Toast
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, spirits, and wine with professionalism and flair, maintaining proper presentation standards
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Upsell menu items and suggestive pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and beverage service as needed to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with food handling, serving, bussing tables, cashiering, and guest relations is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
