The Troubadour Hotel New Orleans is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven General Manager to lead our boutique hotel with a passion for exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team development.

Preferred Experience
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager ready for the next step.
- Forbes-rated luxury hotel experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with The Market food and beverage concept or similar upscale grab-and-go, café, or lifestyle hotel retail operations.
- Full-service hotel leadership experience.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and P&L accountability.
- Experience with Hilton brand standards is preferred.
- Proven success leading high-performing teams and creating an engaging workplace culture.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a hands-on leadership style.
- Experience improving guest satisfaction scores, online reputation, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all hotel departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Housekeeping, Sales, and Front Office.
- Drive revenue growth while maximizing profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through consistent service excellence.
- Lead recruiting, coaching, training, and retention of a high-performing team.
- Maintain compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, labor controls, and expense management.
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy and RevPAR.
- Foster strong relationships with owners, associates, guests, and the local community.
- Champion a culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
- Prior General Manager experience in a full-service or lifestyle hotel preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven record of increasing guest satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
