Overview

Duties
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into various accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare journal entries for general ledger adjustments and assist with month-end closing processes.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify data integrity.
- Assist with tax preparation activities and ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards.
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation documentation.
Experience
- Proven knowledge in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, or public accounting environments.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP standards and SOX compliance procedures.
- Ability to perform detailed data entry tasks with high accuracy using 10 key typing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze accounts, perform account reconciliation, and support budgeting or credit analysis activities. Pay: $21.50 - $25.50 per hour
