Fetter Logistics Inc. is a full-service logistics provider offering supply chain management, freight brokerage, warehousing, custom crating, and 4PL solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Truckload Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage the coordination of full truckload (TL) and partial shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and reliable transportation for our customers while building strong relationships with carriers and shippers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and arrange inbound/outbound shipments including partial loads, full truckload (PTL/FTL), and other freight modes — including booking loads, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and managing appointments.
- Source, negotiate, and secure truckload and partial-load capacity with carriers and transportation providers to meet customer shipping requirements.
- Track and trace shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to customers and internal teams on status, delays, or issues.
- Negotiate freight rates while maximizing margin and service levels.
- Build and maintain a network of reliable carriers across dry van, reefer, flatbed, and specialized equipment.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, equipment shortages, or service failures in a timely manner.
- Manage transportation documentation, bills of lading, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, warehousing, and crating teams to deliver seamless end-to-end logistics solutions.
