Roasty's is the new roast beef sandwich shop in Portland, featuring signature sandwiches crafted from the finest, perfectly slow-cooked roast beef. We're seeking enthusiastic Team Members to join us.
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the open kitchen
- Utilize the Toast POS system to accurately process orders and handle kitchen display screen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Manage time effectively to fulfill multiple tasks efficiently without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques is a plus.
