ABOUT US :
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals with histories of substance abuse, mental illness, and trauma. Our sober, homelike facility in Mid-City fosters trust, respect, and integrity while empowering residents through education and job training to support lasting reintegration into society. We are seeking a committed team member to join us onsite at our interim housing facility.
**Shifts available:
Week:
Monday- Friday
(7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Weekends:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Observe, monitor, and document resident behavior during your shift (Hourly rounds and End of Shift)
- Provide mediation and crisis intervention as needed
- Address policy violations with a strong understanding of agency policies and procedures
- Support residents in achieving housing, health, and wellness goals
- Assist with facility maintenance and cleaning as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- ( Preferred ) 1+ years in experience providing direct services to individuals with a history of incarceration, substance abuse, and/or mental illness
- Familiarity with addiction recovery programs
- Working knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction service model
- A commitment to and passion for the mission, vision, values, and culture of our program
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires effective collaboration with a variety of organizations and individuals
SKILLS :
De-escalation, Clear communication Monitoring, Reporting, and conducting appropriate searches as needed. Word and Outlook knowledge for end of shift documentation.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.05 per hour
