Full time Veterinary Technician

What you will do:
- Use your advanced clinical skills to provide the highest level of care
- Complete lab work as required
- Restrain and collect blood on a dog or a cat
- Take radiographs and demonstrate radiology safety by example
- Use correct veterinary terminology to complete medical records and handover cases
- Perform medical calculations and help train others
- Give injections (IV, IM, SQ), induce and monitor anesthesia, perform intubation
- Fill prescriptions for patients and have an understanding of veterinary pharmacology
- Communicate with and educate clients/pet owners
- Assist team as needed in tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, etc.
- Collaborate with veterinary team to provide the best care to patients

The Right Fit
- Minimum 1 year of professional Veterinary experience. Be able to restrain and collect blood
- Proficient in medical math calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, conversions, etc.)
- Enthusiastic team player with a patient and positive professional attitude
- Must be detail-oriented due to the high level of quality medicine
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
