Position Details
- Location: FedEx Ground Terminal, 1936 Amity St, Newton, NC 28658
- Service Area: Deliveries and pickups in Newton, Hickory, Hildebran, Connelly Springs, Valdese, Morganton, and Nebo
- Schedule: 5–6 days per week (SATURDAY availability required), starting at 7:30 AM until route completion.

- $15/hour (with overtime pay) for under 10k class vehicles, averaging 50 hours/week with Overtime.
- $800/week salary for over 10k class vehicles

Key Responsibilities
- Pick up vehicle and packages from the Newton terminal
- Load, unload, and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers
- Accurately scan and log packages using company technology
- Adhere to safety, service, and attendance standards—your commitment matters!
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a good Motor Vehicle Record
- At least 21 years old
- Minimum 1 year of job-related driving experience
- Ability to pass a company paid DOT Medical/Physical Exam and a drug test
- Willingness to submit to a background check
- Physically capable of handling packages up to 150 lbs. without assistance
- Experience with other FedEx contractors and Amazon is a plus!
