Warehouse lead – Durango Coca-Cola

Overview
As a member of our Warehouse team, you will be a key leader among your peers and colleagues to ensure that our customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so that their stores are always fully stocked with our great-tasting products. Communicate with order builders about daily activities and maintain warehouse procedures while leading by example.
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday approximately 10:30am-9:30pm depending on Warehouse needs.

Warehouse Lead
- Teamwork & Collaboration:
- Work closely with Driver Supervisor, sales representatives, and account managers to ensure accurate deliveries and product rotation.

Communicate with the admin team regarding customer concerns, issues, and Load Builder discrepancies

Major Responsibilities

Assist Operation VP in Hire, train, coach, and support all Warehouse employees
-
Responsible for loading the trucks, as well as the accuracy and stability of the loads.
- Build orders in EO Star
-
Receive inventory support route delivery check-in as needed
-
Rotate products in the warehouse. Restock and pull-down product as needed. Sort shells, pallets, and damaged/out of date products as needed at the end of day

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment. This includes conducting a complete walk and survey of the warehouse facility once a month verifying the proper condition and OSHA compliance of the facility and equipment

Ensure all orders are built and trucks are loaded correctly and end of night EO Star closing (EDIs) procedures are completed

Responsible for the security of the inventory. Complete “End of Day” procedures and secure the warehouse and facilities daily (including removal of keys from trucks) with end of shift walk through to ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse is ready for the next day

Various other tasks are regularly assigned, including nightly clean-up, equipment maintenance, and general warehouse/facility organization

Lead by example and act as a role model for warehouse safety compliance and housekeeping of warehouse and trucks

Responsible for addressing, correcting, and reporting disciplinary infractions to the Operations VP
-
Assist Operations VP to control time distribution and overtime for order building personnel
-
Coordinate with Operations VP to ensure proper training for forklift operators
-
Assist Operations VP with maintaining a drug free workplace and comply with all reasonable suspicion reporting and procedures

Ensure that all accidents are reported immediately on the day of the accident to Operations VP or HR. Follow all Company procedures on injuries and accidents

Other duties as assigned by Operations VP

Lead by example and act as a role model for warehouse safety, compliance, and maintenance
- Being part of the company safety committee
- Other duties as assigned by Operations VP
Safety / Physical Requirements
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs. repetitively, including above shoulders and below waist
- Frequent twisting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Active role requiring constant standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- This role is considered a safety‑sensitive position
Additional
- Work hours: Mon & Fri 11am start Tue, Wed, Thur 12 pm start until loads are complete

Once a Month Training at Noon

This position is highly active and requires constant standing and walking. While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to talk and hear and spend most of the time on the warehouse floor. As a result, you should expect fast-paced production

Experience & Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and 18 years of age preferred

Familiarity with MS Office (Teams, Outlook) and iPhone/iPad devices.

Proven success in building strong team relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.

Must maintain professional appearance to uphold Durango Coca-Cola’s dress code policy.

Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function

Warehouse experience preferred
