Our firm has offices in Colorado Springs, Denver and Chicago. Office sizes range from 3 to 10 employees, the total combined team is about 25 employees total.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate who reflects our core values—someone proactive, dependable, and genuinely committed to building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our office running smoothly, fostering a positive and productive environment, and supporting both our clients and internal team throughout the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex federal and multi-state individual, trust, partnership, and S & C Corporation income tax returns
- Be proficient at federal and state tax research
- Manage IRS and state tax notices to resolution
- Be able to work with manager or partner on tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards
- Responsible to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Be able to work in team environment
- Experience with CCH Axcess is preferred but not required
- Continually work to increase quality of work through asking questions and being receptive to review notes and feedback
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and Tax
- CPA license preferred but not required
- Two plus years of public accounting experience
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills in accounting, tax preparation and tax review
Experience level:
- 2 plus years as a tax preparer
- CPA license preferred but not required
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
