DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position oversees nursing services to ensure residents receive high quality care and support. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating care, and maintaining a safe environment. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Clinical Oversight: Guide staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care across multiple areas
- Team Leadership: Support collaboration among nursing staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams
- Communication Skills: Provide clear communication to residents, families, and staff while facilitating organizational updates
- Staff Development: Offer ongoing training, orientation, and performance guidance for nursing personnel
- Documentation Tasks: Complete records, evaluations, and required reports while monitoring resident care quality
- Emergency Response: Respond to critical situations and ensure resident safety during urgent events

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays. This may change based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
- Special Requirements:
- This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
