Pierce Memorial is a highly respected skilled nursing facility in beautiful Brooklyn, CT, seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. Schedule
- 32 hours per week
- First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Shift differential: $1/hour
RN Supervisor Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Complete resident assessments and monitor clinical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to develop and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Communicate changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure adequate staffing to meet resident care needs
- Promote a positive, team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional resident care
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Licensed in another state? Connecticut RN licensure by endorsement is easy—we're happy to help!
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (long-term care or skilled nursing preferred)
- Current CPR certification (on-site recertification available)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
