Commercial Cabinet Project Manager
We are looking for a self-motivated Project Manager who can work alongside other PM’s at our commercial and residential cabinet company. As one of our Project Managers, you will be responsible for the successful completion of multiple projects, including making sure timelines are being met, meeting with contractors and architects to make sure cabinets are produced correctly, etc.
To be successful as a Project Manager, you should stay up to date with building trends as well as techniques to help move the planning process along faster. An exceptional Project Manager will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail on plans, be able to clearly relay important information to our drafters and have sound knowledge of the cabinetmaking field.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings and corresponding bids to make sure drawings are started so timelines are met properly
- Manage multiple projects from start to finish
- Communicate with contractors or architects to gain the best knowledge of the project that is being bid.
- Work with drafters and the shop floor to make sure projects will be started and completed on time
- Communicate clearly with customers in terms of timelines and change orders
Project Manager Requirements:
- Firm knowledge and experience reading architectural drawings
- 2 years’ experience with commercial architectural millwork
- Is proficient taking field measurements
- Adequately make sure materials are ordered on time
- Excellent communication skills
- Is detail oriented
- Is comfortable working with tight deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
- Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
