Ty’s Treats brings crowd-favorite funnel cakes and fried treats to major sporting events and venues. We’re looking for a reliable, high-energy Stand Operator to run the stand, cook products, and deliver fast, friendly service during NC Courage events.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a funnel cake / fried treat stand during high-volume event shifts
- Prepare and cook funnel cakes and other fried treats safely and consistently
- Set up the stand before service (stocking, prep, signage, supplies)
- Maintain speed and accuracy during rush periods
- Handle payments, accountability, and guest service
- Keep a clean station: wipe downs, utensil control, trash, and end-of-shift cleanup
- Follow food safety, temperature, and oil handling procedures
- Communicate needs quickly (restock, product running low, guest issues)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong reliability. You show up on time and ready to work
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, loud, high-energy environment
- Able to learn and follow cooking procedures and portion standards
- Customer service mindset (friendly, upbeat, calm under pressure)
- Can stand for long periods and lift-25-50 pounds (supplies, boxes)
- Willing to work nights/weekends/event schedules
- Food service or concessions experience is a plus (but not required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to obtain any required venue credentialing (if applicable)
- Ability to follow safety rules for hot oil, equipment, and food handling
- Must have reliable transportation to the venue
