Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist with clinical tasks such as medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) in accordance with safety protocols.
- Support physicians during examinations and procedures in our outpatient clinic.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information accurately and ensure seamless communication among healthcare team members.
- Maintain clinical supplies and ensure compliance with infection control standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology are essential for success in this role.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to support accurate patient assessment and care delivery.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations.
- Ability to perform vital signs collection, intake procedures, and assist with medication administration confidently in outpatient environments. Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
